Wouldn't it be great to be able to lookup an RA Battery number and find which Regiment it was attached to?
Or maybe you need to find all the Batteries associated with a Regiment.
I recently discovered a great website which has been set up to do just that.
A guy called Derek Barton from the ww2talk forum has built a terrific website with information on Royal Artillery Regiments during the World War 2 years from 1939 to 1445.
These regiments include Field, Anti-tank, Light Anti Aircraft, Heavy Anti Aircraft, Searchlight and so on.
In addition to the Battery/Regiment Finder, there is information on regiment organisation, insignia, formations & markings, guns and equipment.
And Derek's site is still growing, so head over to https://ra39-45.co.uk/ and take a look!
